PRIVACY, WITHOUT THE GUESSWORK

Your wardrobe.
Your choice.

WardrobeGo works locally on your iPhone. iCloud is optional, and stays off until you choose to enable it.

Privacy policy · Effective October 10, 2026

1. Information stored on your iPhone

WardrobeGo saves the clothing names, types, owner labels, homes, rooms, illustrations, photos, and changes you enter. Owner labels describe your wardrobe; they are not online accounts. Your iCloud preference, downloaded account data, sync journals, and recovery information are also stored locally.

Local app data may be included in device backups according to your Apple backup settings. You do not need a separate WardrobeGo account to use the app.

2. Photos and camera access

The app asks for camera access when you take a clothing photo. Apple’s photo picker gives the app only the photos you select; WardrobeGo does not request access to your entire photo library or your contacts.

Photo processing, including foreground removal and cropping, happens on your iPhone. Images are not sent to an external AI service. Original and reviewed images may be retained for editing and safe recovery.

3. Optional iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud, wardrobe details and photos are uploaded using Apple’s CloudKit service to the Apple Account signed into your iPhone. Wardrobe details use encrypted CloudKit fields, while photos use CloudKit assets. Account identifiers and an opaque device identity help keep local account caches separate.

The developer does not receive your Apple password or operate a separate wardrobe database. Apple handles account and iCloud service information under its privacy policy. Apple’s storage limits and service availability apply.

4. Sharing a home with family

Sharing uses private invitations managed by Apple. When you choose to share a home, invited members can view and edit its clothing, rooms, relevant labels, and displayed photos. Original-only home photos must be reviewed before inclusion. Unshared homes and original photo records remain in your private wardrobe.

Accepting a relative’s invitation does not merge or share your own private homes. Apple manages invitation delivery and participant information. Other members may keep copies of information they can see, so invite only people you trust.

5. Your choices and retention

Turn off iCloud in “iCloud & sharing” to pause uploads and downloads. This does not delete existing iCloud records, memberships, backups, or photos. Your private edits stay local until you enable sync again; downloaded shared homes become browse-only.

Delete clothing in the app to remove it from the active wardrobe. When iCloud is enabled, deletions sync. Safety journals, deletion markers, migration backups, and recovery records may remain to prevent accidental loss.

Owners can stop sharing or remove participants through “Manage invitations & access”; guests can leave a shared home. Removing the app from an iPhone does not erase data already stored in iCloud or copies kept by others. Apple provides additional iCloud storage and account controls in Settings.

6. No advertising or tracking

WardrobeGo includes no advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated server for wardrobe contents. It does not sell wardrobe information or use it for advertising.

If you choose to share troubleshooting details, the app includes only its version, the failed step, and Apple error codes—not wardrobe contents, invitation links, or Apple Account identifiers. You choose where to send those details.

7. This website and support

This website has no analytics, tracking scripts, third-party embeds, or marketing cookies. Its hosting provider necessarily handles normal connection information, such as an IP address, to serve pages. Hosting-level logs and retention are governed by that provider; we do not use them to track your wardrobe.

If you contact support, information you choose to send, such as your email address and message, is used to respond to your request. Do not send private wardrobe photos, passwords, invitation links, or Apple Account details. Contact [email protected] for support or privacy questions.

8. Updates and questions

This policy may change when the app’s features change. The effective date above identifies this version. For help or privacy questions, visit the support page.
